Justice Matters Update

If you have been following this blog (which i doubt you have), you might remember that I spoke about a show I was apart of called "Justice Matters" (formally Need for Justice).  Now for the opening I had to go a different route than I hoped but I think it's better than just a fade from black.

Take a look if you would, see the progression of the SD to HD and the openings yourself.

I also have been trying to migrate her shows onto her own youtube channel but it's a bit difficult to get the same amount of traffic.  Her newest shows (and my newest opening) can be found here.

Action on Film, Film Festival

So a while ago I had the privilege to edit a promo for a local film festival here in Monrovia and I must say I learned a lot about myself and the way I edit during this process; trusting my cuts mainly.

It wasn't easy and it took longer than I thought, BUT, I did meet my deadline and my client was very pleased.

Personally I am really glad how it came out, I wish we had some better shots, but the way the festival was shot really didn't fit what the client wanted. But like I said, it came out in the end.

A Night at the Library

Okay so this is an old video I did before the summer really kicked in.  This was my first project that I had directed and it was a success in my opinion.  I edited it together and worked on the audio as well.  I have to say I think it did well. However it was the library people who came up with the concept so I can't take any credit there.  Anyway, I hope you enjoy puppets ^^

New Show

Alright so recently I have been given a show to work on called Justice Matters.  I'm still working on the opening but so far I am enjoying myself.  Here are some of the show's episodes so far...

Deferred Action For Immigrant Youth
Proposed Provisional Waivers
Deferred Action Update

The title I want to make for the show is going to be made with DazStudio which is a Daz3D software.  I have used Daz3D before with Bryce but this will be the first time working with Studio and their modeling program Hex but I know my way around 3d programs so it shouldn't be too difficult to work out ^^ wish me luck

rawrz

Hello everyone, so it's been awhile since my last post but i have been alive and working.

So at KGEM Studios i am a Production Assistant, which is a nice way of saying "a catch all" person. its good for me i think because it allows me to to get my hands in everything.  The only thing i have a problem with is that we only really work on news which is not my forte.  I realize now that is why i haven't been doing as well as in my classes which are strictly creative pieces.  That being said i know that this is a very good experience for me to have and is a good opportunity to get my foot in the door.

as for my News Gathering class, everything is going well.  No news on that front actually XD. everything is just basic cutting and what not but if there is anything of interest i will defiantly post it.

my next blog will be more about my ideas and opinions on entertainment as of today. Good day everyone ^^

I also started school again.  I'm taking a News Gathering and Editing class and basic audio editing class so this should be a fun semester.
